more than a yoga retreat. this is for you…

to immerse equally in practice, culture, food, and community // to explore, heal and play in supported space // to fall in love with the south of France (and the version of yourself that you find here) // to connect to what moves you 💓

Your home for the week is in a picture-perfect hilltop village - winding cobblestone streets; worn plaster and bright shutters; a 12th-century château (yeah they measure time in centuries around here).

Each day we’ll root together in movement and meditation. Each day we’ll share a table brimming with inspired, bright and hearty meals. We’ll seek out all that this unique landscape has to offer - from vineyards + olive groves to the Mediterranean coastline - while leaving plenty of room for lounging poolside.

Give yourself this time to reconnect. We’ll take care of the rest.

{ a sense of place }

Provence is a feast for the senses - fresh herbs and lavender, warm stone and chilled wine, the hum of cicadas and the faint din of a nearby sidewalk café. This is the good life - a life born of and inseparable from the landscape that surrounds you.

Walk along the rows of olives and cypress, and it’s hard not to feel connected to things greater and deeper. Put your hand on the worn walls of the village and sense the generations who’ve walked these winding streets, the hands that built everything on which you stand. This is a place with roots.

In addition to our own little village, we’ll explore other idyllic towns and landscapes, including the red earth trail in Roussillon and the Mediterranean beaches of Cassis.

{ embodied practice }

Mindful practices form a supportive structure for each day. At the start, guided meditation to reconnect to intention. Later in the day, yoga asana to connect to our bodies. It’ll be a little different with each day’s theme and adventures: dynamic flows, honeyed lunar practices, philosophy, mantra, and there’s never been a {pulse} retreat without a little dance party.

Our movement and stillness practices this week will cultivate awareness of connection - to each other, ourselves, all that came before us - to all things, always.

At the heart of it all, PYC is about: yoga that allows your breath to move freely, yoga that connects you to how you feel and feels right in your body. Yoga that is for every body, and every heart. That’s what we’ll be up to on retreat too. 💓

This is supported space to connect to what moves you, and to remember all that is interconnected.

{ be nourished }

Sharing food is inherently connective, and no one embodies that more fully than Charis, our chef for the week. She cooks to tell stories, to bring people together, to fill you with joy and love. We’ll eat to nourish our bodies, but also to connect - to each other, to ourselves, and the land that feeds us.

French cheese and wine get all the glory, but have you ever tasted a fig plucked from a hundred-year-old tree? Provence is bursting with flavor, from sun-ripened tomatoes and stone fruit to bold truffles and bright, fresh herbs. You’ll find all of these on our table this week - along with the cheese and the wine, of course.

movement + stillness

kristine

For me, retreat is about giving into real care and deep connection. There is a spaciousness that allows you to notice the subtle joy and pleasure in every moment. You are free from daily responsibilities, we got you. From our joyful feasts + thoughtfully selected activities, to our daily practices - led by Natalie and me - everything is intentionally created just for you.
This retreat isn’t an escape, it centers and amplifies the sweetness of your life. Moments are amplified, too: deep conversations over Charis’ meals, the sounds of Michelle’s harmonium, quiet moments with the stars, shared belly laughs. This retreat is an exhale. I can’t wait to share it with you.

Our first Provence retreat redefined for me what’s possible when you bring a group of people together with yoga at the center. I cannot wait to build more connections, deepen established ones, laugh together while sharing the most incredible meals (Charis’ food alone is reason to return), bask in the French sunshine and feel the salt of the Mediterranean on my skin. I’m looking forward to moving, breathing and connecting with you again!

connection + cuisine

michelle

I couldn’t have known, when I moved to France, just how many layers and complex flavors of beauty I’d find, nor how badly I’d want to share it all.
Travel (whether across the world or across town) has become part of my yoga practice, an opportunity for deepening awareness and amplifying connection. Retreat has been particularly potent. With all the logistics and planning taken care of, it’s easier to be open to connection - to yourself, to what’s true, and to a unique part of the world.
I want you to experience all of the above, and I’m here to hold supportive space for that. I’m also here to pour the wine.

charis

When people share food they open themselves up to each other. It becomes more than an individual experience. There’s a communal, interactive aspect to sharing this table together.
There’s a chef called Asma Kahn and she once said “I didn’t fall in love with cooking, I fell in love with feeding people.” Out of any quote I’ve ever heard, that’s the one that describes me best. Big bowls of joyful food are my love language!
That’s the kind of feast you can expect on retreat: meals abundant in flavour and feeling. I’m here to make sure you are well-fed, body and soul.
